Global climate extremes have given rise to a growing number of severe droughts worldwide. Over the past five years, coastal regions in China, namely Fujian Province, Guangdong Province, and Taiwan Province, have also experienced a profound drought. Particularly since 2019, the southern region of Fujian Province has faced a persistent drought, with precipitation in 2020 plummeting to less than one-tenth of previous years' levels, leading to an exceptionally severe drought classification in the area.

The adverse impact of this drought on crucial aspects of daily life and various engineering projects, including the construction of a CNNC nuclear power plant in Fujian Province, has been substantial.

Suzhou QT fastRO® series C500E seawater desalination integrated equipment offers an optimal solution for addressing construction operations at nuclear power plants, including on-site watering and providing drinking water for workers. This equipment features a streamlined design incorporating standardized modules, pipelines, and control systems. Its design enables easy transportation, installation, and commissioning while providing user-friendly operating conditions.

In late December 2020, with the assistance of QT Group, the on-site technical team accomplished the external pipeline connection and water production commissioning within a remarkable timeframe of only five days, effectively achieving the "plug and play" objective.

QT's guidance ensured a clear and concise workflow, providing operational instructions that facilitated an intuitive understanding of each instrument, valve, and water tank within the system. The user-friendly touchscreen interface further simplified the operational complexity, offering convenience and ease of use.

Following rigorous testing procedures, the system demonstrated its ability to produce water of exceptional quality that fully complies with the established assessment standards. This contributes to ensuring the smooth progress of the work being carried out in this vital national workshop.
