President's word

The “One Belt, One Road” initiative launched by China in 2013 can be seen as China's response to the protectionist trend in the international market. My country, Morocco, responded positively by establishing a strategic partnership with China in 2016, during the historic visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to China. Due to its geographical location at the intersection between Europe, Africa, and the Arab world, Morocco has signed free trade agreements with 56 countries and regions. For Chinese companies wishing to expand their market internationally and reduce logistics costs, Morocco has become the best choice for setting up production and logistics bases abroad.
QT WATER TECH is an entrepreneurial cooperation between China and Morocco, which was born taking this particular context into account, and combines the QT group’s 30 years of experience in the desalination industry and the considerable knowledge of Morocco and African countries from our teams of professionals. Aware of their social responsibility and the importance of water treatment for African countries, the two parties promote cooperation in scientific research and in training local technical staff as a strategy for the sustainable development of QT WATER TECH in Africa.
We are confident this cooperation will be beneficial for Morocco and all African countries, alleviating the water shortage, but also a great opportunity for our Chinese partners, who will have access to a growing African market. This is the best scenario of a win-win cooperation model.
We will deploy all the necessary means so QT WATER TECH becomes a model of partnership, whose success will be equal and mutual between African countries and China.
